London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social science universities in the world, ranking amongst the top institutions globally for social science and management subjects and home to approximately 13,500 students and 4,000 staff. Russell Partnership Consulting has a longstanding relationship with LSE and has supported a series of projects over the last decade to support the ongoing development of the School’s catering strategy and the food and beverage provision.
Our strategic reviews have secured stakeholder feedback and consolidated market research alongside situation analyses to deliver a series of recommendations to optimise food and beverage service and quality across campus. Russell Partnership Consulting has delivered strategic approaches that model optimal front-of-house and back-of-house outlet space, developed brand positioning, and recommended technology solutions. Most recently, Russell Partnership Consulting delivered a detailed design for a relocated café outlet and design guardianship during fitout; a comprehensive strategic review in 2023 across all campus catering, leading to a revitalised five-year strategy; and is currently leading the redesign of a new catering concept.
