Tom is a senior executive with over twenty years’ experience, specialising in the delivery of complex commercial partnerships, strategic projects, major international sports events, and global marketing campaigns.

Tom led the Commonwealth Games Project Delivery team, responsible for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games venue and village operational, and logistical commitments at the University of Birmingham. Prior to this, Tom was the Senior Programme Manager, Special Projects & Major Events at West Midlands Growth Company, where he led the strategic planning, implementation, and operational delivery of a new, three-year, £24m business and tourism program to maximise the economic impact and benefits from the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Tom has worked with universities, Local Authorities, and the wider private and charitable sectors, and as a Prince2 Practitioner has strategic and operational experience of multiple major sporting and cultural events, at the Olympic, World, and European levels, including; Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Rugby League World Cup 2021, Rugby World Cup 2015, and London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games, with experience of four Olympic and three Commonwealth Games since 2002, as a key Games delivery partner, administrator, ambassador or volunteer.
